I want to thank you for the sister of the year pin. I look forward to having our Supreme President Mary Clifford and her marshal Angela at our business meeting in June.

I want to welcome our new member Jeannie Harkins. We will be initiated Sheila Dennison and Susan Oliver at your June meeting. If any knows of any else who would like to be a member please see Rosemary Myers, Membership Chairman.
It was voted to send money to the Maine State Association in memory of Alfreda Blood's sister and Freida Carpenter's mother. If you know of anyone who needs a card sent to them please let Barbara Guy, Sunshine Chairman now.
Sister of the year: We would like to congratulate Kim Matthews for being selected as the sister of the year. This is certainly an honor she has earned over many years as she is always available to give a hand when needed. With our sincere “Thank you” to Kim for all her dedication. Do not forget about the upcoming Maine State Convention which will be held in Rockland on June 5, 6 and 7 th this year, honoring our own past president Barbara Guy, State President. Hope to see everyone there to support all of the outgoing and incoming State Officers.
Also we have the supreme convention coming up in September at Valley Forge, PA. We will have our own past president Charlotte Mills representing us has 4 th Supreme Vice President.
We voted on our standing rules and budget for the 2009-2010 year. If anyone would like a copy please go to your website emblemechos.org or contact Kim Matthews 354-0629. If you have not visited our website please do, Carol has done an excellent job.
Kim read Barbara Webber's historian report at the May meeting. It will be posted in the cabinet for anyone to read. Thank you Barbara for a great job.
Our upcoming social on May 21 we will be getting ready for State Convention.
Martha Calinda, beano chairman always can use beano workers, bakers, people to help setup and any other donations. If you can help please contact Martha.
There is an auction May 24 and 25, if anyone can work or donate anything for this event please call Charlotte Mills 354-6478.

If you are 65 or over your dues are $15.00, under 65 $20.00. You are important to us even if you cannot join us at a meeting, we know you are there supporting the wonderful things that we do.
